Request fine-tuning in the record window

You can request fine-tuning to texts generated from documents in the record window. For instance, you may want a text shortened or rewritten to address a different audience.

Example of fine-tuning in the record window

In this example, the user Quinn Campbell is going to write a newsletter article based on a record containing an environmental report. He opens the record and selects the document in the document area. Then he clicks on the F2 AI Assistant icon and then on Write newsletter.

F2 AI Assistant generates a draft based on the information found in the document.

Quinn reads through the draft and decides that he prefers a shorter article, focusing specifically on the section about pollution of lakes. Since F2 AI Assistant can understand plain human language, Quinn can request fine-tuning simply by describing what he wants in the "Request fine-tuning" field below the generated text. Quinn writes:

"Can you rewrite the newsletter so it is shorter and focuses more on pollution of lakes?"

Quinn clicks on the Send message icon. F2 AI Assistant now generates a new text. The new text has the correct length and focus, but Quinn finds the language a bit too technical for a newsletter with a large and diverse audience. He therefore writes:

"Can you rewrite the text with a lower readability level and to appeal to an audience with limited knowledge about the topics?"

F2 AI Assistant generates a draft that is easier to read and understand for Quinn’s target audience.

Quinn is satisfied with the text and clicks on Copy to copy the text to the clipboard. Quinn can now paste the text into a newsletter and make the final adjustments before publishing it.

If F2 AI Assistant does not provide you with exactly what you need, try changing your prompt, for example by making your description more or less detailed.

Request fine-tuning in the chat window

If you need more information about the chat, you can ask F2 AI Assistant to adjust the text using the "Request fine-tuning" field at the bottom of the window. You can ask for a shorter summary or a summary focusing on messages from a specific user or other adjustments.

Example of fine-tuning in the chat window

User Charlie Carter has received a record in his inbox which contains a chat with a large number of users. There was a long discussion in the chat before Charlie opened it, so to save time, Charlie clicks on Summary. F2 AI Assistant now generates a summary of the chat.

Charlie would like a shorter summary focusing on Irene’s messages. Therefore he writes:

"Make the summary shorter and emphasise Irene’s messages"

He then clicks on the Send message icon. F2 AI Assistant now generates a new text.

At the bottom of the window you can click on Clear to remove the generated text, Copy to copy the text to the clipboard, or Retry to generate a new summary.
