F2 Service Builder

F2 Service Builder lets you create and maintain case guides, self-services, and management dashboards - simply by filling in a spreadsheet, also known as a design template.

Processes and workflows may change, and F2 Service Builder takes this into account. It is easy to maintain and further develop your solutions because you can make changes directly in the design template and upload a new version to F2.

You can also reuse processes in a new design template ensuring efficient digitisation - because many processes fundamentally resemble each other. Using F2 Service Builder, your organisation can build an internal process library that can be copied, adapted, and reused across units.

F2 Service Builder key features

Use the design template to define the case steps that a case process must go through, and choose whether to attach a self-service and a management dashboard to the case guide. You can also set up calculations to be included in case guide tasks and self-services.

Case guides with F2 standard processes

F2 Service Builder is fully integrated with F2 Desktop. The case steps you build with F2 Service Builder can utilise the standard processes in F2, such as checklists, separation of duties, automatic creation of letters with merge codes and phrases, as well as automatic progress code changes.

With or without self-service

A case process can be initiated internally in F2 with a manual case creation. You can also define a self-service in the design template. On the self-service, citizens or businesses can submit an inquiry or application, which automatically creates a case in F2.

Add management dashboard

The built-in management dashboard enables the organisation to monitor case production and keep track of cases and resource allocation in a graphical and operational overview.

Upload design template

When the design template is filled in, you upload it directly to F2 and the solution is created and installed in your F2 environment. Now you can test the solution and subsequently put it to use.

How does F2 Service Builder work?

F2 Service Builder fundamentally consists of two elements:

  • A design template, where case guide, self-service, and management dashboard are defined.

  • File upload, where the design template is loaded into an F2 environment.

When you upload the design template to F2 via File upload, F2 automatically installs case guide, self-service, and management dashboard in your F2 environment.

File upload validates the design template and then converts it into a series of XML files. The XML files are then automatically distributed to the relevant F2 servers, which interpret the files and create and install the overall solution on your F2 environment.
