Navigate tab ribbons.

Press Alt to navigate to the ribbon. Use the arrow keys to switch tabs, Tab to navigate from a tab to its ribbon with menu items, then Tab or the arrow keys to navigate to a menu item.

Use Tab to navigate the menu items while focus is in the ribbon.

Press Enter to open a menu item or down arrow to open the menu item’s drop-down menu, if any. Navigate between the menu items in the drop-down menu with the arrow keys or Tab.

Press Esc to close the menu item’s drop-down menu.

Navigate to list.

Press Ctrl + 1 to place focus in the filtering field above the search lists. Press Tab to navigate to the lists, and use up arrow and down arrow to navigate to the desired list.

Press space bar to manually update the selected search list.

Add search to favourites.

Press Shift + F10 to open the context menu when a list is selected. Use the down arrow to go to the "Add to favourites" menu item. Press Enter to execute the action.

Navigate the result list.

Select multiple records in the result list.

Select a function in the context menu.

Main and case windows

Press Ctrl + 2 to place focus in the result list. Navigate to the first object you want to select using the down arrow. Then hold Ctrl and use the down arrow to go to the next object you want to select.

Still holding Ctrl, press Space on the object to select it. To select more objects, keep holding Ctrl while using the down arrow to navigate to the next object you want to select, and press Space again.

If you want to select multiple objects that are located one after another, you can select them using Ctrl + Shift + Space and then Ctrl + Shift + down arrow.

Press Shift + F10 to open the context menu, navigate to the desired function, and execute the action with Enter.

Select and open an object in the result list.

Navigate metadata.

Press Ctrl + 1 to go to the "Title" field. Use Tab to navigate between metadata fields.

Customise the "Quick access" toolbar.

Mark a task in a phase of a case guide as completed.

Press the space bar to mark a selected task as completed. This will update the phase’s status.

If using a screen reader, the task must be selected again before its new status can be read.
