F2 Administrator Approvals
The F2 Administrator approvals module enables more control and logging of which rights users are assigned. In F2, units, roles, and privileges can give users access to sensitive personal data and rights, such as subsidy payments. F2 Administrator approvals helps control access by requiring approval in order to assign selected user rights.
The module lets you protect a specific user right, such as a role or privilege, by attaching an administrator approval to the user right. The administrator approval is based on an administrator approval template. When the protected user right is assigned to a user, the approval process is started. The right is assigned automatically upon final approval.
Administrator approvals can be used in connection with:
-
Assigning a role in a specific unit to a user.
-
Assigning a specific role to a user.
-
Assigning a specific privilege to a role.
-
Allocating "on behalf of" rights.
Set up administrator approvals
Create administrator approval templates in the "Approval templates" window. |
|
Then attach administrator approvals to a user right in the "Administrator approvals" window using the templates. For "on behalf of" rights, select a template in the "Allocate 'On behalf of'" dialogue. |
|
An administrator approval is started when one of the selected user rights is assigned. When the approvers have processed and finally approved, the user right is assigned automatically. |
|
If you want to remove an administrator approval attached to a user right or change an administrator approval template, the action must go through an overriding administrator approval. |
