Features in F2 Working Hours
F2 Working Hours ensures that all records to be placed in your inbox are withheld outside of the defined working hours. This means that you will not receive these records in your inbox.

When you open F2 Desktop outside of the defined working hours, you will see a yellow bar under the ribbon indicating that your actions will not place records in other users' inboxes until working hours resume. The yellow bar is also displayed in F2 Touch and F2 Manager 2.
When working hours resume (for example the following day at 09:00), all withheld records will be placed in your inbox simultaneously and in the order they were sent. This includes emails from external senders. Approval deadlines and other deadlines are not affected by the delay.
Even though a record is withheld from your inbox, you can find it in other lists, such as approval lists or personal searches. Examples of such records may include approvals that have reached your step or chats in which you are a participant. Actions that usually place a record in your inbox are still being performed and logged, even though the record has not yet reached your inbox. |
Records that you send to other F2 users outside of working hours are also withheld. The records will only be placed in the recipient’s inbox once working hours resume.
Records are withheld for all users during any time period defined as being outside of working hours. It is not possible to exempt users or groups of users from the functionality. |
Expedite mode
If necessary, it is possible to bypass the Working Hours functionality and place records in other users' inboxes outside of working hours. This is done by manually enabling expedite mode in F2 Desktop, F2 Touch, or F2 Manager 2.

The actions you perform in F2 while expedite mode is enabled will place records in other users' inboxes immediately, just like during regular working hours. You should only do this in special circumstances, for example if a single approval needs to be processed urgently.
Only the sender can enable expedite mode. It is not possible for a user to opt out of receiving records sent using expedite mode. This means that the sender decides whether the recipient is notified about records in their inbox outside of regular working hours. |
Expedite mode is disabled automatically when you close F2.
