F2 Basics
-
Performance has been improved when viewing security groups.

It is now possible to select which functions to display in the context menu for records, cases, documents, requests, and participants, as well as their order. This can be done in the dialogue "Customise the toolbar, ribbon, and context menus" on the "Context menu" tab. You can also reset your settings to the default setting.

It is now possible to create default settings for context menus.

You can now rename a case via the context menu for cases in the main window.

You can change the font size in the result list via your personal settings.

When you create a new email in simple mode and click on the "Casework" button, the record now always opens in edit mode. Previously this was determined by the personal setting "Select mode when opening record documents".

When the "Standard search" search criterion is selected, it now appears in the overview of active search criteria to the right of the free-text search box in the main window.
-
Performance has been improved for installations with many security groups when you search for groups that you are a member of. This applies, for example, to searches in the "Access restricted to" field.

The dialogues for saving new searches now show which search criteria have been selected. Previously you could see the search criteria by clicking on the info button in the dialogue.

When you create a new email in simple mode, the window that opens is now wider by default to provide more space for the functions in the editor pane toolbar.

Column sorting and grouping as well as adjusting column widths in result lists is now done via the column header context menu. The context menu opens by right-clicking on a column header or via the keyboard shortcut Shift + F9. Selected columns are marked with icons that show how they are included in your sorting or grouping.

The functions "Export to Excel" and "Export search result to Excel", accessible from the record’s context menu, have a new icon.

The case window now opens in the same size and position on the screen as the last closed case window.

The dialogue that appears when you close F2 has a new and improved design and more accurate text.

It is now possible to reset the customisation of the ribbon and the "Quick access" toolbar.

Choose the default zoom level for record and approval documents in the record editor pane. This is done in your personal settings.

The new "Case guide scripts" dialogue displays an overview of the case guide’s scripts. The dialogue is accessed from the "Case guide" tab in the case window. Access to the dialogue requires the "Case guide script administrator" privilege.

It is now possible to choose whether copied links to cases, records, documents, and participants should be f2p links, HTTPS links, or both. F2 is configured in cooperation with cBrain.

It is now possible to configure MailImport and MailImportService to communicate with Exchange Online using the Microsoft Graph API instead of the EWS protocol. As of now, PushMailImportService does not support the Microsoft Graph API. F2 is configured in cooperation with cBrain.

A configuration lets you visually distinguish between different F2 systems with a label where you can define a background colour, an icon, and text. The label appears in the top right corner of all windows in F2 and indicates that the F2 system is, for example, a test system. F2 is configured in cooperation with cBrain.

Performance has been improved when retrieving case templates in connection with case creation.

The menu item to delete a standard list or unit list is now called "Delete search for all".

Logging of searches on requests and documents in the main window has been improved.

The dialogues for selecting keywords on records and cases have been improved with a new design and a search field, so you can search for keywords and keyword groups.

Participants are now grouped in the drop-down menu when you search for participants in chats, notes, or in delivery fields on records.

It is now possible to select the top node in the participant register as the default sender for deliveries. This is done via the "Personal settings" dialogue.

When you hover the cursor over a document in the record’s document area or in the preview in the main window, the document is highlighted in blue.

The user experience has been improved when you send a new chat to many participants or add many participants to a chat.

The underlying technology that F2 uses for PDF generation has been upgraded.

The drop-down menu when clicking on the "Search criteria" button now shows which active search criteria belong to the selected search list. It also indicates which search criteria have been added to or removed from the selected list.

The advanced search field "Creator unit" in the "Request" search group has been renamed to "Request creator unit" and has a new help text that explains what the field searches for.

You can choose in your personal settings the number of milliseconds before a tooltip appears when you hover the cursor over a menu item. You can also determine how long the tooltip remains visible.

You can now filter records in the case window the same way as in the case view in the main window.

Performance has been improved when creating a case from the "New record" dialogue.

Performance has been improved in the new design of the "New record" dialogue, which was introduced in F2 version 12.

The buttons at the bottom of the "Personal settings" dialogue now have a more accurate text. The order of the buttons has also been changed.

When you attempt to delete a case, the status bar in the bottom right corner displays information about progress while F2 investigates whether it is possible to delete the case.

The keyword field in the new design of the "New record" dialogue, which was introduced in F2 version 12, now shows focus the same way as the other fields in the dialogue.

Performance has been improved when adding participants to a new chat.

A number of dialogues have improved designs, for example improved headers as well as new icons, buttons, and texts. The changes affect dialogues such as "New case", "Add supplementary case manager", and "Change responsible".

F2 Touch

Handling has been improved when F2 Manager 2 re-establishes connection to the server.

F2’s help tools

F2 now attempts to find an internal participant instead of creating an external participant when a user submits feedback via the "Send feedback" menu item.

The "Help" tab has a new button called "Subscribe to user panel". The button opens a page in your browser where you can subscribe to F2’s user panel. As a member of the user panel, you will receive invitations to surveys where you can contribute your insights about F2. Participation is always voluntary. The button’s visibility is configured in cooperation with cBrain.
F2 Accessibility and shortcuts

The result lists in F2 are now accessible for screen readers without needing to activate the personal setting "Extended screen reader support".

You can now use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F5 to force a reload of all record information in the case window.

You can now use the keyboard shortcut Shift + F1 to activate info buttons after navigating to the associated element.
-
The "Shortcuts" dialogue in the record and case windows now shows shortcuts to move keyboard focus.
-
You can now use the Tab key to navigate to participants in an ad hoc meeting, even if you aren’t in edit mode or lack permissions to change participants.
-
Info boxes that appear when clicking on info icons now have an updated design with new headers and a more comprehensible layout.

The yellow bar that appears when you work outside your organisation’s defined working hours has improved contrast when using Windows' contrast themes.

You can now use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + A to open the "Add records to case" dialogue. This can be done in the main, case, and record windows. The record cannot be in edit mode when you use the shortcut in the record window.

You can now move focus to the search field in the case window with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F.
Analytics

The result list for report configurations in the F2 Analytics administrator window now has improved options. You can adjust column widths, change their order, and use columns for primary and secondary sorting.

You can now adjust the dividing line between the result list and the preview in the F2 Analytics administrator window using the keyboard. To do this, navigate to the dividing line in the middle of the window and then use the arrow keys to adjust its position.

The report types "All record fields" and "All case fields" now also include additional data fields with integer, boolean, and date formats. F2 is configured in cooperation with cBrain.
Approvals

A series of dialogues related to creating and editing approvals and approval templates have an improved design with clearer texts and buttons.

The report types "Approvals" and "Received approvals" have a new column called "Approvers on final step".

You can now configure different statuses for different approval types when an approval is exported as a PDF file. For example, an approval of the type "For your information" can be marked with the status "Seen" instead of "Approved" at the final approval step. F2 is configured in cooperation with cBrain.

The "Take over approval" dialogue now has a configuration which allows you to display the "Show advanced" button. Via "Show advanced" you can change a step’s deadline and copy recipients. F2 is configured in cooperation with cBrain.

You can now choose who to notify when cancelling or reopening an approval. In your personal settings you can choose whether you want to be asked who to notify.

The approval document now remains on an approval record after the approval has been cancelled. Once the approval is deleted, the approval document is also deleted.

The "Status" metadata field on an approval record now displays the date and time when an approval was finally approved.

F2 now asks whether you want to add approvers to the access restriction of a record when you add approvers who are not already part of the access restriction via the "Take over approval" dialogue.
Case guide

Performance has been improved when viewing editable lists in case guides.

You can now click on the "read more" link to open the full text in the "Info" window when the text is too long to be displayed in a task in a case guide.
Data cleanup

Performance has been improved when retrieving record information to display cleanup searches.
Data Transfer Service

A new dataset, "ApprovalInfo", has been introduced. The dataset includes, among other things, timestamps for creation and finalisation as well as IDs for both the approval and the record.

The "Cases" dataset now includes the columns "TaskGuideKey" and "TaskGuideTitle". The columns display the case guide’s file name and title, respectively.
FOI Request

The "New FOI request" dialogue has an improved design which includes explanatory text and new buttons.

FOI requests are now created using a new underlying technology to improve F2’s general performance.

FOI request reports can now be configured to show whether documents and records are included, partly included, or excluded. F2 is configured in cooperation with cBrain.

The dialogue used to add a comment to an FOI request element is now called "Comment" and has an improved design. The dialogue includes explanatory text and new buttons.
