F2 Basics

  • Case cleanup during periodic deliveries to the National Archives has been improved.

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader no longer displays the "Bookmarks" panel for PDF files opened using the "Create record PDF" function.

F2 Manager 2

  • A more accurate error message is now displayed if an individual document cannot be displayed when selecting "View combined".

F2 Help

  • F2 Help and F2 Docs now use a new search engine that provides better search results.

AI Assistant

  • Copying from AI Assistant using the "Copy" button has been improved, so text retains its formatting when pasted into programmes such as Word.

Approvals

  • Loading has been improved for records whose approval processes have many versions.

  • Performance has been improved for approval actions when F2 is configured to create a new version of the record following each action.

cSearch

  • The "Transfer to F2 main window" button is disabled if the search results do not contain any records.

FOI Request, Advanced

  • It is now possible to configure whether cases in FOI request reports are sorted in ascending order, descending order, or left unsorted. F2 is configured in cooperation with cBrain.

Meetings

  • Performance when completing meetings has been improved, so the relevant cases remain locked for a shorter time.

  • For cases discussed under multiple agenda items at the same meeting, the minutes for those items are now stored as documents on a single record instead of a separate record for each agenda item. The document titles indicate which agenda item each document belongs to.

Request

  • F2’s support for HTML tables in text templates for standard request descriptions has been improved. The text templates can now contain up to 10,000 characters.

  • A third-party library in F2 REST has been updated to address potential security vulnerabilities.

  • Third-party libraries in F2 Desktop have been updated to address potential security vulnerabilities.

  • Third-party libraries in F2 Touch have been updated to address potential security vulnerabilities.

  • Third-party libraries in F2 Manager 2 have been updated to address potential security vulnerabilities.

  • Third-party libraries in F2 Analytics have been updated to address potential security vulnerabilities.

  • A third-party library in F2 Analytics has been removed to address potential security vulnerabilities.

  • Third-party libraries in cShare have been updated to address potential security vulnerabilities.

  • Third-party libraries in F2 Add-in for Microsoft Outlook have been updated to address potential security vulnerabilities.

  • Third-party libraries in F2 Merge Codes have been updated to address potential security vulnerabilities.

Service Builder 3

  • You can now create solution-specific field types based on the "List" type. This functionality requires configuration. F2 is configured in cooperation with cBrain.

  • Service Builder 3 now supports the "Date and time" field type, which lets you specify both a date and a time.

  • Service Builder 3 now supports phrase variants in document templates. This functionality requires configuration. F2 is configured in cooperation with cBrain.

  • You can now specify a receiver for JWT authentication of a web request on the "Web request" tab in the design template.

  • The functionality of the "Record" tab in the design template has been improved. You can now:

    • attach multiple documents.

    • set the record and document titles independently.

    • send the record to multiple recipients at the same time.

  • Data fields set to display output from the "Rules" tab in the design template are now always set to read-only.

  • You can now select the "Auto-complete" display type on the "Fields" tab for a field of the "Enum" type.

  • Service Builder 3 now runs validation to ensure no two input fields write to the same cell on the "Rules" tab in the design template.

  • Fields that get their value from the "Rules" tab in the design template are now automatically recalculated when navigating between pages in self-service solutions and clarification requests. You can also add a button to a page in a self-service solution or clarification request that users can click to recalculate the value.

  • You can now control the visibility of the last page in a self-service solution.

  • A web request can now only store a value in the same output field once. A service parameter can also only be used once.
