F2 Request configuration options
| The content of this website is last updated to F2 version 13. cBrain are working hard on supplying you with the newest documentation of F2. In the meantime you can read about the latest features and changes in our release notes. |
| F2 version 10 introduced a new and improved request window design through a configuration. This manual describes F2 Request using this new design. If your organisation uses the old design, refer to the version 9 manual (available in Danish). |
F2 Request can be configured to fit the needs of the individual organisation. The following can be configured in cooperation with cBrain:
-
Mark a request as executed when the answer record is sent and/or when the approval of the answer record is finally approved.
-
Automatically fill in the "Return to" field with the request creator’s unit instead of their name.
-
Enable request evaluation.
-
Determine whether the user can select one or more request types.
-
Determine which time should be automatically inserted in deadlines.
-
Enable the selection of answer records with and without approval. Answer records with approval require the Approvals module to be installed.
-
Automatically tick the checkbox "Notify creator upon execution" when creating a new request.

-
Show approvals of answer records in the request log when they have been finally approved. A message is added to the log, and the request status changes to "Executed".
-
Allow all users to finalise a request. By default, only users in the request creator’s unit can finalise a request.
-

-
Choose who can view the request: the request recipient, the recipient’s unit, or all users with access to the record.
-
Hide the "Request deadline" and "Internal request deadline" fields in the request window.
-
Automatically fill in the "Request deadline" and "Internal request deadline" fields when creating a new request.

-

Allow the request deadline and internal request deadline to be changed after the request has been accepted.
